Xiaomi Mi 10i is all set to launch in India soon. This phone could be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G. The news has been leaked by a known tipster on Twitter along with an alleged Google Console listing which states some of the specifications too.
Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5 G last month in China along with the Note 9 5G and Note 9 4G. The MI 10i may have a 6.67- inch display. It may also have a Snapdragon 750G SoC.
The alleged Google Console listing that was tweeted by tipster Mukul Sharma shows a phone which is named the Xiaomi Mi 10i which has a Snapdragon 750G SoC. This processor is also present in the Redmi Note 9Pro 5G. It also shows that the phone has a 6GB RAM.
Xiaomi Mi does not show any further specifications though. It clearly says that this new phone will be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 9Pro 5G.
There are many specifications which are expected to be there in the new phone. It is expected to run on Android 10-powered MIUI 12. It may feature a 6.67 inch full-HD (2,400×1,080 pixels) display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The RAM will be of 6GB.
The phone may have a quad rear camera setup. It may feature a 108-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra -wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. This truly will increase the camera quality which has always been Xiaomi Mi ‘s main feature.
This company has always been famous for making affordable phones with a good camera. For video-calls and selfies, the phone is expected to come with a 16-megapixel camera at the front in the central hole-punch cutout.
This phone may have a 4820 mAh battery with a support for 33W fast charging. The connectivity options may include 5G, Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g, NFC, USB Type-C port, and a headphone jack.
It has also been reported that the Redmi 9 4G that was launched in China last month is a slightly tweaked version of the POCO M3.
All in all, with the iPhone 12 being made in India, the launching of this phone soon will lead to a good tussle between the two brands since the iPhone is priced above 1 Lakh. Xiaomi is always famous for making affordable phones. Though it has rumored that the company copies the features of the models of several other companies, Mi has been a top favorite in the Indian Subcontinent apart from SAMSUNG, Oppo, Vivo and the others.
This proves the fact that the company has a steady customer base here. Almost all its models have had a good response in this market.
