India will be playing one series against England as part of the WTC with Australia, ranked third, who will face South Africa. Australia will need to win against South Africa if Tim Paine and the boys make it to the WTC finals.

Last year, the ICC decided to change the WTC points rating system for Covid-19. The WTC table has now been revised into group scores based on the percentage of points earned in the play series, meaning that the teams are calculated in the order of the percentage of points earned.

Earlier in the day, England and the Wales Cricket Board (ECB) on Monday confirmed that England would start their summer home with a two-match Test match against New Zealand, which starts on June 2.

Joe Root’s team will take first place in the New Zealand Test Team in two Tests for the Lord Lests (June 2-6) and Edgbaston (June 10-14).

Test competition is not just a project close to the heart of the ICC, even stars like Kohli have made it clear that it is an important part of the program, and winning will be the last cherry on the cake.

He said that he thinks the Test Championship, like the ICC tournament, should be there. All other tournaments, for me, start under this. This will be the biggest. All teams want to reach the finals Lord. And we are no different. They want those points and make sure they qualify immediately. as much as possible, and be in that mood in the hope that we will win that.
