It is built to facilitate businesses in order to showcase their catalogs as well as to receive orders from them. This company had earlier launched catalogs, this catalogs had allowed customers to quickly check and see what’s available. This will help businesses to organize their chats around some particular items. This new update of Carts will also further help by allowing the customers to accumulate the required products that they need all in a single cart.
Carts are a very useful tool for messaging businesses for typically selling multiple items all at once, just like a local restaurant or clothing store sells their products. With these update of carts, people will also be able to browse a catalog, they will be able to select multiple products and send their order in the form of one message to the business. All this will make it simple and easy for businesses and will also help them to keep a track of their order inquiries and manage requests that they get from customers and also they will be able to close sales.
When a person will be visiting a business’ catalog on WhatsApp, they can use the Message Business option to start a conversation or they can also use the ‘Add to Cart’ button. One can use this cart button if they are ready to place an order with the business about a product that they are viewing and the one that they like.
So now how will people be able to add products to the cart:
- Open WhatsApp.
- Go to the chat or business profile of the business one would like to order from.
- Tap on the shopping button icon which is listed next to their name in order to access their catalog.
- After the catalog opens up, one will be able to browse through the products one like to order.
- Tap on the product you like.
- Tap Add to Cart on product if someone likes to order.
Alternatively, they can also tap ‘Message Business’ if they would like to ask a specific question about the product that they are interested in.
How can one editing their cart:
- Tap on the ‘View Cart’ to see all the products which are added to your cart.
- Tap ‘Add More’ if one wishes to navigate back to the catalog to continue adding more products if they want to.
- They can also edit quantity for each product that they have added to their cart.
How can one place an order:
Once you’ve successfully updated the items your cart, you can send it to the seller as a WhatsApp message. Once the message is sent, they will be able to see the details of their order by tapping on the ‘View Cart’ button in the chat window with the seller.
