Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said there was a need to enforce low-income areas in areas where Covid-19 cases were increasing, as he held a meeting with senior ministers to look at the situation in the country and the ongoing vaccination program. He also said India had previously successfully reduced the high number of Covid-19 cases and could be repeated.
