Odisha government allows operas & open air theatres with a ceiling

The Odisha government has allowed the holding of operas and exhibitions in open theaters that can reach the roof of 2,000 people, in its March directive released containing the spread of Covid-19 in the province.

The government also allowed civil society organizations during the wedding and funeral with up to 500 people following the Covid-19 safety measures. Local authorities will ensure that Covid’s safety measures are followed.

Seeking permission from local authorities will force organizers to hold weddings, large gatherings, social, religious and jatra demonstrations, according to an order issued by the Special Aid Commission.

Also, District Collectors and Municipal Commissioners have been instructed to design content boundaries in accordance with the guidelines of MoHFW, the Government of India and the H&FW Department of the Odisha Government.

The SRC office has issued detailed guidelines for the month of March stating that the Content Areas will be notified to the relevant District Collectors / Municipal Commissioners and details will be shared with the MOHFW. The Department of Skills Development and Vocational Education is authorized to make appropriate decisions regarding the reopening date of Engineering Colleges and Other Technical Institutions / Skills Development and Hostels under its control. of India, it said.

Anganwadi Centers are licensed to operate on February 1, 2021.

Salons, spas, beauty salons and barbershops should ensure all safety, disinfection and hygiene pre- and post-customer services. The responsibility to comply with this policy rests with the owner, who will be liable for any violations, which may result in the imposition of penalties, including the closure / closure of property, it said.
