Fans of Sushant Singh Rajput remember the late actor in his death year. The actor died of suicide on June 14, leaving his fans devastated.
In his career, Sushant Singh Rajput was part of several films such as MS Dhoni, Detective Byomkesh Bakshi and Kai Po Che. But did you know that you also missed many other big ticket projects?
Romeo Akbar Walter
Sushant was supposed to star in the film Romeo Akbar Walter. He even filmed the film’s material. However, the movie eventually went to John Abraham. Because of the controversy, Sushant had to remove himself from the film. Co-ordinators Bunty Walia and director Robbie Grewal are ‘shocked’ and want to find a replacement.
“Unfortunately, I will not be part of Romeo Akbar Walter because of the changes in my previous commitments. I wanted to be a part of this program because I love this story, and I believe it should be discussed, but, that will not happen, ”said Sushant.
Bunty Walia was not too happy with the way Sushant left the movie. “We signed Sushant in February and we have his dates again. His sudden departure came as a shock to us, especially Robbie, because he had made a quick decision, ”Bunty told the Mumbai Mirror.
Based on Chetan Bhagat’s novel, Half Girlfriend was originally supposed to imitate Sushant. Chetan had welcomed Sushant to the movie board via tweet. However, Arjun Kapoor was later brought to the board facing Shraddha Kapoor.
Speaking to Bollywood Life, Sushant had explained, “Look, I made a lot of films and they are all coming out now. I don’t want to call them names. What happens is, when I give my voice to someone and he is delayed (not because he wants to, but for some reason) and I understand you, I will not give up. So be it the biggest film with the biggest studio or the smallest film, I won’t leave another film. So unfortunately, because of the two films I was making and it didn’t happen, I lost 12 films in one year ago. One film did not materialize and the other was released for several months. And these are the movies we often talk about these days. Let’s not get into all that. “
Sushant also had to star in Abhishek Kapoor’s Hindi remake of the Great Expectation, Fitoor. However, it was replaced by Aditya Roy Kapur. Speaking of which, he said, “No. I have no regrets. This is something I will pursue for the rest of my life, the rest of my days working in this field. If I love this script and give you my voice, I won’t let you go because I find another film more exciting and bigger than the film I said yes to. ”
Abhishek and Sushant worked together in Kai Po Che and then in Kedarnath.
