Apple Releases iOS 14.4.2, iPadOS 14.4.2, and watchOS 7.3.3

Apple has released iOS 14.4.2, iPadOS 14.4.2, and watchOS 7.3.3 patch updates to fix the risk on its latest devices. The update fixes the security error on WebKit, a browser engine developed by Apple and used in its Safari Web browser, which is also authorized for use on all third-party browsers on iOS. Apple said it was possible to use a WebKit error. The Cupertino-based company has also released iOS 12.5.2 and iPadOS 12.5.2 to mark WebKit security issues on older iPhone and iPad models running on iOS 12. Apple has released iOS 14.4, iPadOS 14.4, and -watchOS 7.3 update in January. . A major new update to the latest iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch models should be released later this year.

Apple said it found a bug in WebKit that could allow a malicious website to run randomly to write a site. The tech giant said that it knows about reports that this bug is being exploited. The current update is for security only and does not include any new features.

IOS 14.4.2 update works on iPhone 6s and later. IPadOS 14.2.2 belongs to iPad Pro (all models), iPad Air 2 and later, iPad 5 generation and later, iPad mini 4 and later, and iPod touch (7th generation). IOS and iPadOS 12.5.2 patch works on iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPad Air, iPad mini 2, iPad mini 3, and iPod touch (generation 6). WatchOS 7.3.3 fixes the security issue of the Apple Watch Series 3 and beyond. In case you haven’t received a notification on your compatible Apple devices, you can go to Settings> Software Update and tap Install Now.

Apple is currently in the process of testing the beta for iOS and iPadOS 14.5, which is expected to reach users in April. IOS 14.5 will enter the market with features enhancements that include the ability to unlock the iPhone using the Apple Watch when wearing a face mask. It will also introduce the controversial feature of the Tracking Transparency app, a new dialog box for applications that you will need to display before sharing user information with third parties.

The last major update from Apple on its iPhone and iPad models was iOS 14.4 released in January this year. The Apple Watch Watch 7.3 update brings the face of the Unity watch, inspired by the colors of the Pan-African Flag. The update also brings Apple Fitness + Time Travel subscribers and extends the ECG app to the Apple Watch Series 4 and later to Japan, Mayotte, the Philippines and Thailand.
