In the previous 24 hours, West Bengal has registered 2,014 new instances of coronavirus infection (Covid-19), according to a bulletin released by the state health ministry on Tuesday.
In Bengal Covid Situation
Bengal’s Covid-19 infection count has risen to 19,97,530 as a result of this new increase.According to the bulletin, 33 more deaths were reported in the state, bringing the total number of fatalities to 20,652.

There were also 5,548 additional Covid-19 recoveries in the state. The number of persons in the state who have been cured of the sickness has now risen to 19,54,736, according to the bulletin.
The recovery rate for coronavirus patients has reached 97.86 percent.There are currently 22,142 active Covid-19 cases in West Bengal.
Nine new Covid-19 fatalities were recorded in North 24 Parganas, followed by six in Kolkata. The state’s mortality rate is now at 1.03 percent.

In the last 24 hours, 234 new instances were reported in North 24 Parganas, while 265 new cases were reported in Kolkata.
On Tuesday, West Bengal tested 49,301 samples for Covid-19, bringing the total to 2,32,67,360.There were also 5,548 additional Covid-19 recoveries in the state.
