China hosts Asian foreign ministers, promises continued Covid-19 vaccine support

China is promising to give a Covid-19 vaccine and to collaborate on vaccine research, with the countries of south-east Asia, as it seeks to increase the presence in the region in order to counter the US in the midst of recent military incidents in the Philippines and Malaysia in the south china Sea.

In a face-to-face meeting, which is held on the Monday of the Third privy Councilor and foreign Minister Wang Yi noted that the members from the Asean countries, such as China, has delivered a 100-million to the anti-COV vaccines to countries, such as medical supplies, to fight against this pandemic.

Wang said that China will “to implement the” China-Asean, “the public Health Collaboration Initiatives, continue to support Asean in the Emergency Medical Care System” and to the strengthening of the regional public health capacity.

China claims almost all the south china Sea, the conflicts over the ownership of the islands, as Asean members the Philippines, Brunei, Malaysia, and Indonesia.

Recently, China has been engaged in a war of words with the Philippines and Malaysia, with the participation of the China Sea, the occupied area of the South China Sea, and is being invaded by Chinese fighter jets in the Local sky.

China has denied the accusations, but of the government and the media, describing them as a minor incident.

China’s economic and diplomatic influence in the region, the trade turnover between China and Asean, 684 billion dollars, to help the allies such as the kingdom of Cambodia, and is helpful in overcoming the fear.

According to Chinese state media,the security minister, did not directly mention of Myanmar, Asean member state in which the military seized power on February 1, and allegations of widespread violations of human rights during the subsequent crackdown.

On Monday, Wang said China supports Asean’s non-interventionist stance on the situation in burma / Myanmar.
